• We provide support to both from Onsite & Offshore for various customers. My team is supporting for PLDB databases in IBM Mainframes, Technology used in this project are JCL and OPC.
• Installing a Database and Refresh and reload the database periodically or as per adhoc request using JCL.
• Using OPC/A build the plans required to control processing. The Long Term Plan (LTP) contains a high-level description of the work scheduled for the upcoming weeks and months. The Current Plan is derived from a section of the Long Term Plan and contains the work that OPC will run or control.
• OPC: Handling the abended Jobs, Holding job/application in OPC, Releasing held job/application, Force completes the Job, Adding/Deleting a Dependency as per the request, Releasing Special Resources of failed jobs, View whether an application is running or not, Making changes in the JCL and restarting the jobs as per the request and instructions of JCL.
• Experience of working face to face and remotely with customers from IT, the Business and third parties.
• Experience in Market Research domain
