A Cross-Sectional Study of Marital Adjustment and Quality of Life in Patients with Alcohol Use Disorder in a Tertiary Mental Health Centre in North Kerala

Population: Patients with Alcohol Use Disorder attending a tertiary mental health centre
Key areas: Marital adjustment, quality of life, sociodemographic and clinical factors
Ethics: Institutional Ethics Committee approval and written informed consent obtained.

Particular academic and research interests include psychiatric disorders, substance-use disorders, quality of life, medication adherence, evidence-based psychiatry, mental health research, and medical education. Academic interests also include developing and evaluating innovative educational approaches to improve psychiatric knowledge, clinical reasoning and patient-care skills among doctors and other healthcare professionals.
