Working as a Storage and Backup Administrator for a leading global healthcare company (Boston Scientific) where some of my day to day operations includes

• Work in 24x7 environment, supporting customers worldwide(AME, EMEA, APJ)
• Assisting end users to avoid or reduce problem occurrences and timely resolution of existing issues
• Maintaining and managing different storage and Backup boxes which includes opening timely cases with support for managing SLA
• Patching and upgrading of both storage and backup gear includes Data Domain ,Veritas Appliance ,Isilon , PMAX/VMAX, PowerStore etc
• Creating Standard Runbooks ,SOP's and Best Practice documents
• Maintaining Backup Environment so that necessary SLA's are met
• Preparing Documents for Internal and External Audit's
• Working on projects including Storage and Backup hardware Refresh ,implementing new backup solution like Druva
• Management and Maintenance of SAN switch environment .
