My passion for science began in childhood when I was fascinated by a scientific model on rainwater harvesting and a tsunami warning device showcased at a Children's Science Congress at a regional level. This early fascination naturally evolved into a deeper interest in Earth sciences, culminating in my decision to pursue geology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels followed by continuing as a research student, where I am actively developing my proficiency in the field of soil micromorphology.
Research Scholar at Panjab University, Chandigarh, awarded the DST Inspire Fellowship in 2023. Building competence in micromorphology and geology, in particular Sedimentology through presentations at national and international conferences. Attended numerous workshops enhancing expertise in research writing and data analytics. Skilled in analysis and public speaking, showcasing a commitment to advancing global scientific understanding.
This blend of continuous learning, practical exposure, and engagement with cutting-edge technologies will support my growth as a budding woman earth scientist and a geologist.
Passed with Distinction, 2015
