Government entailed organization (Ministry of Social justice and empowerment), targets pediatric population (0-6yrs) with any congenital or acquired disabilities

• Role involves assessing flexibility, muscle tone, strength, posture, gait, sensory processing, balance, coordination and gross motor skills.
• Work closely with family and other rehabilitation professionals to improve child's functional skills, maintain and improve cardiorespiratory endurance and prevent further complications
• Evaluate and prescribe suitable aids and appliance for children. Organize transdisciplinary activities, art therapies and experiential learning
• Establish functional mobility in management for motor deficits, positioning, sitting, transition from sitting to standing, walking with or without assistive devices and orthosis, wheelchair use and transfers
• Most common cases addressed involves children with different types of cerebral palsy, spina bifida, developmental delay in milestones, CTEV, autism spectrum disorders
• Quantify prognosis with Gross motor function measure using standard scale of assessment
• Performed activities for children to facilitate their motor skills and awareness programs to generate awareness about Early intervention program.

• Working hours of 51 hours per week entails performing accurate physiotherapy assessment with specified tools, scales and design therapeutic exercise prescriptions
• Established skill set in various orthopaedic, neurological, carcinoma, cardiopulmonary and pelvic floor dysfunction has enhanced clinical skill set. Wards, ICUs; gastro ICU, Neuro ICU, CTVS ICU, Paediatric and neonatal ICU, liver and renal ICU were also included

• Jun 2015 -Jul 2015 Underwent 2 months summer training at Northern Railway central hospital, which involved OPD, IPD cases. Had exposure to electrotherapy and exercise unit in department.
• Aug 2015- Nov 2016 underwent 15 months clinical postings as part of curriculum in 3rd and 4th year of BPT. Posted at various hospitals like GB pant, VIMHANS, Holy Family, Metro hospital etc
