Overview: Finance Controller of South East, Middle East, currently - UK, and India workspace region (Revenue approx USD 130 Mn)

• Administer financial statements including trial balance, profit and loss accounts , age-wise accounts payables & receivables statements, and balance sheets;
• Conducted in-depth variance and trend analysis to identify key financial drivers and areas for improvement;
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for strategic decision-making;
• Determine financial objectives and design & implement systems, policies, and procedures to facilitate financial control; preparation of monthly Management Information System (MIS) and cash flows;

• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure that OYO management & auditors have a similar understanding of all subject matter & assist in any queries that may arise;
• Collaborating with the Global Financial Reporting team, offering crucial input and assistance in the preparation of quarterly consolidation of financial statements , and actively contributing to the audit process for the OYO Group;
• Ensure the compliance of statutory requirements (Tax return filing, VAT returns, secretarial filing to relevant authority) with the support of the tax and secretarial team;
• Managed a team of 5-6 finance professionals , setting goals and delegating tasks to ensure that deadlines were met timely;
• Led project working capital management for a workspace business of INR 30 Cr .

Key responsibility is to execute the statutory audits, limited review, tax audits, etc in compliance with Standards of Auditing (SA), Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, 2013, and other laws

• Experience in Statutory Audit and Performance Review of one of the leading Groups of the Automotive industry for FY 2019-20 and June- 2020 quarters respectively with the team;
• Analyzed the valuation of an automobile company using the ‘discounted cash flow method' ;
• Reporting on financial statement: Annual Statutory Audit for FY 18-19 and 19-20, 8 Quarterly Limited Reviews, 2 Interim Audit for the FY 18-19 and 19-20 of the listed cement industry;
• Performed detailed Overall Analytical Review (OAR) and executed trend analysis of financial statements;
• Experience with financials of a wholly owned subsidiary of a renowned German group involved in the business of specialty construction contracts for the FY 20-21;
• Analyze the financials and control procedure of one of the renowned organizations in the hospitality industry;
• Performed analytical procedures for Payroll expenses including testing of actuarial assumptions in calculating liability for Defined Benefit Obligations and Plan Assets.
