Job Responsibilities:
- ASSISTING IN OPERATIONS:
1. Preparing the charter party, fixture note
2. Assisting in vessel nomination & acceptance
3. Laytime calculation
4. Letter of Indemnity (loi) drafting
5. Generating commission invoice & regular follow up for payment
6. Co-ordinating with owners, agents & charterers through emails & calls for smooth execution of operations and unforeseen operational issues between both parties mutual satisfaction. - Key Clients:
Owners: Xianglong Shipping Company Ltd., Seacon Shipping Group Holdings Ltd., Cambrian Bulk Ltd., Howes Shipping Pte. Ltd., Solebay Group, Golden Ocean, Athena Shipping
Charterers: Ikwezi Mining FZE, Saraogi Global Pte. Ltd., GMT Global Impex Pte. Ltd. - Routes Handled: China to East Coast India, South Africa to India and Indonesia to India.
- ASSISTING IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
1. Handling enquiries
2. Assisting the lead ship brokers
3. MIS (information management)
4. Keeping client records
5. Preparing daily market report
6. Port information collection
7. Gathering stock position from port for iron ore
8. Handling registration of company with shipping community
