AWS DevOps Responsibilities:
Responsible for launching AWS EC2 Cloud Instances and configuring launched instances with respect to application-specific requirements. Responsible for creating S3 buckets, IAM users/roles, and applying policies. Build EC2 servers, import EBS volumes, create RDS instances, establish security groups, implement auto scaling, and configure load balancing (ELBs) in the defined virtual private connection. Responsible for the creation of IAM users/roles and providing permissions to the AWS account. Responsible for creating CloudWatch alarms for monitoring (CPU, Memory, Disk Space, Status Check, application logs), and sending notifications using AWS SNS. Responsible for creating Redshift instances for data warehousing, and CloudFront for CDN service. Involved in designing and implementing serverless, internet-facing applications using S3 buckets, API Gateway, and Lambda. Encryption of AWS EC2, RDS, and S3 bucket using AWS KMS.
Patching of AWS EC2 servers using Ansible, and RDS databases, as directed by the AWS Ops team. Worked on automating AWS tasks, like uploading multiple files to the S3 bucket and deploying functions on AWS Lambda using the AWS CLI. Provide L2 and L3 offshore support to application support and other IT teams for corporate applications. Provide support on applications running on AWS Cloud, MySQL database. Server provisioning and decommissioning, setting up cron jobs, and providing a database dump. Monitoring alerts received through Splunk and resolving them within SLA. Managed the implantation of jump servers, troubleshooting of servers. Package submission for the project, which covers documentation, risk assessment request raising for that package, and support on the Adobe application.
