Anupama Gupta

Since July 2021, I have been leading the Transversal Infrastructure and Tools team, which focuses on DevOps practices. My responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for various projects.
• Managing and coordinating release activities across multiple environments.
• Collaborating with multiple internal teams and interacting with different instances based on project needs.
• Working extensively on GI (our in-house cloud platform) to support infrastructure requirements.
• Driving automation initiatives to eliminate manual tasks, thereby improving efficiency and reliability.

This role has required a strong mix of technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement mindset to support and enhance the development lifecycle across teams.

During my tenure as Team Lead, I was responsible for working on CI/CD pipelines, managing Docker-based environments, and handling various manual tasks related to software releases.

Worked in the Technical Track team, which was responsible for creating different environments on WAS and JBoss, creating and maintaining Jenkins jobs, daily analysis and correction of issues in different jobs in different environments, and also creating tools using Jenkins, curl, and shell scripts.

Worked as a Java Developer and Scrum Master across various IBO teams, with responsibilities including:

• Java application development following Agile methodologies, contributing to design, coding, and unit testing.
• Facilitated Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), ensuring smooth sprint execution, and team collaboration.
• Managed and coordinated team activities, enabling timely delivery and adherence to Agile best practices.

Worked as a Java Developer on a legacy payment system, with responsibilities including both the development and maintenance of core application components.
Key technologies and tools used: JDK 1.5, J2EE 1.3, Web Services, AJAX, SVN 1.1.7, Log4J 1.1.1, JavaScript, jQuery.

As a Java developer, I worked on the DataCash Global Gateway project, which included the development of different components like the Datacash Transaction Switch (DTS), DTS Monitor, Operation Console, and Secure Storage Model (SSM). My role included development, developer testing, integration and integration testing along with fixing of defects logged through JIRA.
