Lead for Cyber API, which provides internal customers with fast, reliable, programmatic method of accessing cyber security hygiene and vulnerability data, enabling curation of business-specific dashboards, KRIs and KPIs. It is serverless API written in Python and React and built using AWS Lambda, OpenSearch, API Gateway, Cognito and other AWS services.
Migration of Vulnerability Management web app and Cyber API to new AWS account as part of GE separation activities.
Design and implementation of Datasource Tiers in Cyber API.This reduced data staleness/integrity issues of individual datasource and boost overall consumer confidence in data available at Cyber API.
Research, Design of solutions to improve RTO to 2 hour from currently 24 hours in case of cloud vendor service outage in AWS region.
Improved data integrity of EVM ETL by implementing necessary and user requested enhancements reducing monthly ticket count by 36%*.
Trained and mentored 3 junior developers and engineers, teaching skills in SDLC and CI/CD with cyber-sec focus thus improving code quality.

Wrote highly maintainable, solid and unit-tested code in JavaScript/TypeScript on PEAN stack which forms core of Enterprise Vulnerability Management(EVM) web app for BVMs and Asset Owners to manage and track KPIs on security vulnerabilities for their digital infrastructure and drive new/aged vulnerability mitigation.
Designed and implemented various dashboard views end-to-end for accessing assets, vulnerabilities and related datasets in order of 100k records, reducing response time to sub 2 sec and implemented new access control mechanism that reduced cache footprint by removing redundant data which brought in new users on existing infrastructure
Designed and implemented robust queue based system for processing report requests by offloading CPU intensive work from web app to many smaller and dedicated workers using Bull and Redis, thus improving responsiveness of app during peak load and eliminating application downtime
Identified and documented project changes like for eg. app vulnerabilities to make app secure and is in compliance with company security standards with proactive budget oversight
Gathered and defined user requirements to develop clear specifications for creating product features and researched, designed and implemented scalable solutions for these features by meeting extremely tight deadlines through iterative development and migrate away from RSAM saving us from contract renewal expenses since 2019
