-During my residency period in the Department of Nuclear Medicine, in PGIMER Chandigarh, I got the opportunity to work under Dr. B.R. Mittal (HOD-Nuclear Medicine), one of the pioneers in the field of Nuclear Medicine in India.
-Under his guidance, I gained wide experience in the various diagnostic and therapeutic domains of Nuclear Medicine.
-Learned reporting and applications of PET-CT, SPECT-CT & General Nuclear Medicine (using both conventional and newer tracers) in various fields of oncology, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, general medicine and surgical disciplines.
-Under the guidance of Dr. Ashwani Sood ( a very good teacher and also my thesis guide), I also gained wide experience in the field of therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, including working experience in low doses & high doses I-131 therapies, PRRNT, Lu-177 & Ac-225 therapies for metastatic prostate carcinoma, Radiosynovectomy, TARE, Bone pain palliation therapy and other therapies including that for keloid.
