Retail Fin Ops - Company Owned stores

• Responsible for managing rental and all utility payments for more than 2000 Landlords within specified timelines to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensuring Finance compliance over all Lease agreements of retail stores; renewals, rent escalations, terminations SD recovery etc.
• Scrutiny of records by performing vendor and GST reconciliations and ensure no open exposure with Landlords.
• Managing employee expense reimbursement for more than 2000 retail employees including controls over Store expense budget, advance monitoring and expense submission.

Retail Fin Ops - Franchise Stores

• Managing Finance of Franchise ecosystem of more than 400 Franchise Partners and stores PAN india.
• Ensures all due Commission and Margins of Partners are processed timely and accurately as per agreements.
• Maintaining ledgers of Partners in ERP capturing all transactions timely and accurately.
• Addressing all Finance and GST related queries of partners timely and maintaining TAT of 3 days for any issue resolution.

System Design and Controls

• Created in-house Lease Management tool with support of Tech team for managing more than 1500 leases and automate lifecyle of COCO store right from opening to termination.
• Successfully implemented Airtel as centralized Internet and Static IP provider across 1200 stores PAN India which helped streamlined Internet connection, monitoring and bill payments.
• Improved Franchise NPS (Net Promoter Score) from -35 to +50 within 6 months by streamlining Finance operations and improving POS tech systems.
• Successfully migrated organizations Emp reimbursement tool from Happay to DICE with more automation and controls over Emp advance and reimbursements.

Accounts Payable (Category)- Finance and Operations

• Managing team of 8 people responsible for end to end P2P function of Udaan's Non food Business.
• Ensuring correctness of accounting of invoices by maintaining more than 98% invoice digitization accuracy.
• Carrying out 3 way match (PO - Invoice - GRN) both at quantity and price level and ensuring creation and accounting of correct Debit Notes.
• Performing month end accounting and reporting activities including Inventory valuation and Provisions, Purchases and Purchase related provisions.
• Preparing and socializing management PnL for entity and calculating Margins and further alignment of same with Business Partner's

System Design

1. Partnered in creating in house Vendor Management portal that will facilitate-

• Creation of correct Price and Quantity DNs automated from system after performing 3 way match
• Auto capturing of vendor invoices in vendor ledger and subsequent payment as per Vendor TAT.

2. Created in house Inventory / Cogs system of reporting that will enable / provide -

• Daily Buy-Sell margin visibility to management.
• Inventory valuation reports based on FIFO logic.
• Inventory Stock ledger reports giving real-time visibility of inventory movements in WH.

• Part of Flipkart's Controllers Org team managing Inventory of Flipkart group worth 10K Cr
• Ensuring closure of books of accounts by 5th of every month by performing Inventory valuation ensuring compliance and following Org's policies.
• Reconciliation of Gross Margins calculated as per Accounting and as per FCFF approach
• Working knowledge of Qlik View (Data integration and analysis software)
• Created Policy framework for inventory to be sold on 2Gud.com (A platform launched by Flipkart for refurbished products)
