- Spearheaded initiatives to better the ship's safety standards after identifying the best management practices.
- Planning of Cargo stowage as per Charter's requirements and also in compliance with Industry Guidelines and in compliance with International requirements.
- Worked as Ship's Safety Officer in compliance with ISM requirements,Reported Unsafe acts,Near misses as per reporting requirements.
- Carried out all duties as per ISPS Code as a responsible Ship's Security Officer. Maintenance of all ISPS gears and documentation with compliance to ISPS requirements.
- Successfully completed the CDI Inspections of Type II Chemical tankers on multiple occasions.
- Successful completion of OIL Majors SIRE Inspections.
- Involved in Dry Docking of ships and got the expertise of complete coating renewal of tanks in Type II Chemical Tankers(From Maker Interline 9001 to Marine 784),All stages involved was closely monitored under supervision of Coating Inspector starting from Surface preparation (Grit Blasting,Vacuum cleaning) followed by double coat spray painting,DFT measurement till curing of tanks.
- Got opportunity to work in different types of Chemical tankers from Epoxy coated to Zinc coated and also Stainless Steel
- Got Expertise in extensive tank cleaning for change of grades from High Melting Point Palm oil Grades to Wall wash cargoes.
- Got experience in change of grades of Pollution Category,FROM Annex I to Annex II and consequently Operation of ODMCS.
- Extensive experience for Wall wash sampling (HC Test,Chloride Test, PTT Test, Acid Test and Color test) during tank preparation of cargoes like Methanol,Ethanol, and MEG.
- Assisted Master in Berthing and Unberthing of Ships and during Critical Maneuvering.
