Working as Chief EHS Manager for entire Gujarat Projects and solely responsible for:

• Ensure Optimal utilization of resources.
• Facilitate and ensure all sites to prepare project EHS plan to meet the contractual requirements.
• Facilitate and ensure all sites prepare HIRA before starting of project and review of HIRA at periodic intervals. Review and update HIRA at periodic intervals (every 3 months / at the start of new activities HIRA to be reviewed) and when any management of changes or incidents happens at site.
• Facilitate establishing EHS requirements at workplace at all sites under the Cluster.
• Set objectives and targets for self and to Site EHSO and monitor the effectiveness of implementation.
• Implementation of IMS system at all project sites.
• Monthly monitoring of implementation of IMS system at all sites through review meetings with EHSOs.
• Inform requirement of EHS Engineer and stewards based on the requirements of cluster to SEHSH and co-ordinate with SEHSH for timely mobilization at site.
• Conduct periodical site inspection, identify the safety issues, analyze the incident trends, and initiate necessary corrective and preventive action across the project sites of clusters.
• Scheduling and conducting internal audits at project sites in consultation with SEHSHs/ BUEHSHs.
• Review of Internal audit / Cross BU audit and surprise audit observations and ensure compliance of those points as well as continual implementation of corrective action.
• Assess and set the Legal requirements for the site as per applicable legislations and evaluate the compliance.
• Inspect the quality of PPEs and safety gadgets through EHSO and Vendor quality assessments.
• Keep track on PPE and safety gadgets requirements and ensure proper utilization within cluster and intimate surplus items to SEHSH once in three months.
• Monitor the purchase PPE / Safety items by themselves along with the help of EHSO to ensure PPE / safety materials are available at sites on time.
• Participate in the EHS committee meetings and safety celebrations to motivate the project team.
• Conduct meeting with PM / EHSO meet monthly to discuss system implementation without any deviations from SOPs/Procedures.
• Monitor sites for engagement of P&M as per SOP/ IMS system as well as periodical inspection of P&M / tools in close co-ordination with P&M at cluster / Segment.
• Ensure availability of approved erection methodology with all sites before starting any erection activity.
• Monitor sites for engagement of workmen with proper skills in close co-ordination with EHSOs and ensure relevant trainings given by EHSOs for all workmen engaged at sites.
• Ensure all EHSOs at sites create complete awareness to Project team about EHS requirements / SOPs / SHEILD app.
• Review and Implementation of EHS risk assessment and facilitate EHSO in implementing Safe Operating procedures (SOP).
• Review and appraise site EHS performance and facilitate improvement at all sites.
• Continuously review and provide feedback to SEHSH to improve the SOP. Liaison with the state authority, clients and customers and internal customers like Cluster Operations Head for implementing and improving SOP.
• Ensure reporting of all incidents / leading indicators by sites.
• Analysis of leading indicators / incidents under his/her cluster projects and implement corrective and preventive action.
• Follow up CAPA for incident findings and participate in incident investigation as per SOP for incident investigation procedure to recommend safe control measures.
• Ensure the incident investigations are conducted in a timely manner and action points are implemented at all sites.
• Ensure preparation of EHS alerts for all critical near misses / incidents and sending to SEHSHs.
• Alert the project team regarding Natural calamities.
• Coordinate with project level and HQ level clients and local authorities for the improvement and development of EHS activities.
• Participate and guide the project team to achieve National/International awards.
• Ensure and evaluate the Digital Initiatives.
• Ensure site conducts daily pep talk / other behavior-based safety programs.

• Working as EHS Coordinator for OFC Projects.
• From 1st May 2022 onward I have been given new responsibility for TANFINET Project which is surrounded by 10 districts of Tamil Nadu.
• Presently handling EHS team of 11 members at present site.
• Analysis of leading indicators reported on weekly basis and preparing action plan to mitigate high risk observations.
• Preparing and presenting data as per management requirement.
• Building safety culture with site management, co-workers, and subcontractors

• Identification & procurement of the safety material required for executing the project which includes Fiber reinforced polymers Ladders, Discharge rods, 650 V / 11 kV / 33 kV rubber hand gloves, Helmet mounted Induction testers, Pen type tester, High-Voltage tester, etc

• Worked as Environment, Health and Safety Officer in Optical Fibre Cable construction and laying, looking after two states i.e
• Optical Fibre Cable construction and laying, looking for four states i.e., Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa
• For last project i.e., BSNL MOD OFC PKG – D, prepared all the documents pertaining to International Safety Awards (RoSPA & BSC) and won the prestigious awards
