Projects and events undertaken in PG:

1. Completed project under the topic “Development of a novel methodology for Forecasting of Solar Irradiation” as Final Year Project.

2. Participated in National Level Workshop on Land, Atmosphere and Ocean Response to Northeast Monsoon (NaWNEM 2024) at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (22nd and 23rd February 2024)

3. Participated in IGBC’s Green Education Conclave (22nd November 2023).

4. Participated in 5th Edition International Trade fair and Conference Windergy2023 (5th and 6th October 2023).

5. Participated in 6th Edition REFCOLD India (12th to 14th October 2023).

Projects and events undertaken (strength) in UG: 1. Completed “Power generation from over-head tank inlet” (using Pelton wheel) as final year mini project

2. Completed “Assessment of HDPE Modules for Wave Powered Navigational Buoy” as Final Year Project at NIOT.

3. Designed and developed the working prototype of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV). The USV is used for search operations and spying.

4. Student Chairman of MIT Meteorology Club under the guidance of staff mentor Dr. K.M. Veerabadran (2022-23).

5. Attended Internship at 1 Stop under the topic “Onnes Cryogenics Autocad Catia”.

6. Iniatiated the MIT Meteorology Club officially on 3rd April 2021 in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. K.S. Hosalikar (Head of Climate Research Services, IMD Pune), Guest of Honour Prof. Sridhar Balasubramanian (Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay, Member of IDP Climate Studies IIT Bombay), in the presence of Head of Production Technology Prof. A. Siddharthan, former Dean of MIT Campus Prof. T. Thyagarajan and MIT Met Club mentor Dr. K.M. Veerabadran.

7. Designed and developed the working prototype of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV). The USV is used for search operations and spying.

8. Conducted a National level One Day Workshop on Meteorology and Disaster Management on 30th March 2022.

9. Participated in the Idea Crunch competition organized by Anna University Student Entrepreneurship Club.

10. Participated in the MIT Open Day and explained the working of Unmanned Surface Vehicle and created an awareness on RIP Currents on 5th September 2022.

11. Participated and explained the working of Unmanned Surface Vehicle in the Expo conducted on behalf of the Unveiling the Statue of Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam by Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu Mr. R.N. Ravi on 14th December 2022.

12. Conducted Session on Disaster Management taking Cyclone as an Example in NSS during October 2020.
