Work History

Mechanical/Physical Engineer (Associate Consultant

CapgeminiTechnology Services India Limited
Banglore (Remote)
11.2025 - Current
  • Supported stress analysis for Airbus A320 primary and secondary components through hand calculations and ISAMI software.
  • Assisted with strength, buckling, crippling, and joint analyses using hand calculations and engineering software.
  • Conducted metallic composite frame analysis to evaluate structural integrity., Performed metallic stiffened panel analysis to assess performance under load.
  • Used Excel VBA and Python to streamline hand-calculation workflows.
  • For GFEM/DFEM, Hypermesh/Hyperview is used.

Professional 1 / B1

Capgemini
Bengaluru
01.2023 - 11.2023
  • Stress Analysis activities for primary structural components of Front and AFT Fuselage of AIRBUS a321 XLR aircraft from Pre-Processing to Post-Processing and Hand Calculations for the flight, Ground and RCT Load cases.
  • Executed pre-processing and post-processing of stress analysis data for structural components, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • 2D Elemental Stress Extraction, 1D and 2D Elemental forces extraction of Airbus a321 Aircraft.
  • Performed JDV extraction of fasteners from primary structural components of Airbus a321 aircraft using ISAMI to support design validation.
  • Editing or creating Nastran .bdf files to run launchers to get results for Stress.
  • Generated post-processing results utilizing Patran and Hyperview to evaluate structural integrity and compliance.
  • RF calculations for Material Strength, Buckling and Joint Strength for all the loadcases and comparing them.
  • (Remote)

Senior Stress Engineer

Umlaut Private Limited (Old Name: P3 Consulting Engineering Private Limited)
Bangalore
07.2016 - 01.2020
  • #Project 1: The project involves carrying out static stress calculations to assess design solutions for a range of tasks, ranging from modifications to manufacturing concessions against the Aircraft Design requirements for Forward (S13-14), Aft fuselage (S16-18) component, Pax Floor and RPB Sections.
  • Utilized various software tools for stress analysis, including ISAMI, NASTRAN, PATRAN, and CATIA.
  • Static and Fatigue Stress Assessment of Non-Conformances (Oversize, Flaking/Delamination, Scratch, Folding, Undulation, Hole Position deviation, thickness deviation and wrong countersunk installation) occurred on Section 13-14(Forward fuselage), Section 16-18(Aft fuselage), PAX Floor and RPB Sections.
  • Acquired DFEM skills to independently execute stress analysis concessions and mitigate low RFs, strengthening analysis capabilities.
  • Mitigation process & methods for critical locations followed in the checkstress report was analysed (educated/learned) and the same method has been followed for affected locations to save the parts from scrapping. For Example: Undulations on door frame concession are assessed by extracting strains only at affected location using DFEM and re-calculated the RF's and for thickness deviation in crossbeam, buckling check is performed locally at affected location to save the part.
  • Fatigue assessment for metallic components.
  • Compiling Stress Justification Reports as per Airbus Standards.
  • Delivered project results ahead of schedule, enhancing overall project timelines and efficiency.
  • On time and sometimes before the Forecast Date, delivery of concessions to reduce overall lead time.
  • Conducted quality checks for stress justification reports (Static & Fatigue).
  • Trained Six trainees in the team successfully.
  • Preparation of Stress templates using classical methods and the British Airbus Handbook.
  • Analysis of airframe structures using a broad range of standard hand and computer methods.
  • Checking of both metallic and composite concessions. Including skin, stringers, Floor beams, Seat Rails, Galley Rails, Border Rails, Transition rails, PDS, CFRP frames, CDS, BCDS and fixed brackets.
  • #Project 2: The project involves carrying out static stress calculations for A320/321 XLR & Neo aircraft Metallic Frame Analysis to ensure material strength, stability & joint strength for metallic parts.
  • ISAMI, NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA & Product View.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Geometry details extraction from CATIA and Product View.
  • Structural Element and Structural element Assembly mapping files creation using PATRAN.
  • Master Fishtails creation to give input to the ISAMI.
  • Results extraction and RF summary files creation.
  • Key Contributions:
  • Independently worked and delivered 11 frames with very minimal support.
  • Trained trainees in the team successfully.
  • Key Achievements:
  • Streamlined MFA process by increasing use of product view, resolving CATIA license issues and reducing steps in the workflow.
  • Self-trained on DFEM (Nastran, Patran), CATIA, Product View& ISAMI to execute MFA without any support.
  • Self-trained on DFEM (Nastran, Patran), CATIA, Product View& ISAMI to execute MFA without any support.
