Roles and Responsibilities:

Worked on migration of below services from AWS to GCP

• Migration of Redshift tables from AWS to BigQuery tables.Created customized python and Bigquery routines to create and load the load the tables in BigQuery.
• Migration of Kinesis data streams to Pub/Sub in GCP to handle real time data.Created GCP Cloud Functions to convert the messages to parquet format and place the messages in partitioned folders.
• Migration of glue jos to Dataproc jobs. Converted Pyspark custom libraries to support in GCP.
• Migration of EMR cluster startup shell scripts to support in Dataproc GCP.
• Migration of Athena and DataCatalog to BigQuery and Dataplex.

Project : Openreach(CSIM, Service Delivery, Fiber Network Delivery)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interacted with Business and Product Owners to understand requirements.
• Worked on the data discovery and designing to collect the data from different source systems.
• Built StreamSets pipeline to pull the data from on-prem systems and load the data to GCS.
• Developed BigQuery routines to transform and load the data from GCS to BQ.
• Developed composer dags for scheduling.
• Developed Python scripts to perform activities in GCP services.
• Built DataQuality framework to perform the basic and business level checks on data.
• Built CICD pipelines using Terraform.
• Used ERWIN and Collibra tool for DataModeling.

Project: Fidelity Investments

• Involved in development of new functionalities as per the business requirements.
• Creating PLSQL objects like procedures or packages.
• Fixing the issues in Informatica if any and scheduling jobs in control M.

• Migrating the code from Mainframes to PLSQL objects like procedures,functions,triggers etc.

• Created PL/SQL Procedures & Functions based on requirements

• Introspecting Different Data Sources like Oracle, XML files, CSV files
