Project 1: Revamping of DGFT IT System

Project Description: The Directorate General of Foreign Trade is the agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India responsible for administering laws regarding foreign trade.

The new application aimed at eventually providing exporters the option of a single online registration for all benefits significantly cutting down paperwork and transaction time.

Key responsibilities included:

• Continuous interaction with Business Analysts to discuss the SRS about each module of the project
• Performed Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, UAT, Accessibility Testing, and Sanity Testing
• Involved in preparing Test Scenarios, Test case writing and Test Completion Reports for Sign off.
• Managed client engagement effectively by achieving high customer satisfaction
• Involved in production defects management and support
• Database Testing to check whether the fields in the UI/front-end forms are mapped consistently with the corresponding fields in the DB table. Typically this mapping information is defined in the requirements documents.
• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy of the implemented business rules.
• Apart from reporting bugs, given many valuable suggestions and got them implemented which enhanced the overall user experience
