Responsible for ensuring that the Commercial function at the Integrated Plant in delivering results as per business expectation and Plant Operational support. Head the entire Commercial function for Nandyal Unit.

The following are the key responsibilities -

• Material availability to support plant operations.
• Vendor Management and development
• Statutory liasioning with Weights & Measures Department
• Inventory Management
• Stores Management
• Achieve cost reduction targets
• Scrap Management as per Group policy
• Sourcing: - Improving end-to-end procurement of Raw materials, fuels, spares and services and securing profit margins for institution.
• P2P: - Plant to Procure within a time frame as per requirement of user department.
• Vendor Development: Vendor Development for Stores & Spares
• Inventory control: Fixing minimum and maximum stock level for the item in stock. Implementing FIFO system and conducting ABC analysis. Issuing material and spare accordingly to improve life and quality.
• People Development - Develop commercial team

• Lead the Commercial function at Plant level to handle Procurement of Raw Materials, Capex & MRO Spares, Green Fuels and Service Contracts.
• Performance management of the commercial team.
• Periodic review of team KPIs to ensure achievement of targets.
• Ensure compliance to DOA and SOPs.
• Sourcing of Raw Materials: Lime stone, Lime sludge, Slag, Laterite, Bauxite, APC dust, Red mud, Gypsum (mineral, anhydrite, phospho), Dry Flyash.
• Sourcing of Green Fuels: Plastic waste, FMCG, RDF, Agricultural waste (bagasse, soya husk, chilli spent, etc.).
• Finalization of inbound transportation contracts for the above materials.
• Sourcing of CAPEX and MRO requirements.
• Finalization of service contracts.
• Monitoring inventory of raw materials, green fuels, stores & spares, PP Bags, HSD.
• Scrap disposal.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and deliver required savings.
• Implementation of 5S in Stores.
• Implementation of Contractor Safety Management.

• Co-ordination between HO-Commercial, Regional Office Commercial and Plant Commercial
• Control of documentation for statutory compliances and audits.
• Support and execute the operational and tactical procurement of material and services within OpCo.
• Support the implementation of procurement strategies in close cooperation with procurement managers on a local level.
• Support and execute the operational and tactical Procurement of material and services in accordance with company strategy, as well as applicable policies, procedures and specifications.
• Drive the realization of savings, supply efficiency & quality in OpCo.
• Finalize local purchase orders for supplies, equipment and services within DOA.
• Support individual category projects and initiatives at the local level
• Provide Category and Operational Management with information and support for the integration of local volumes, processes, quality levels and prices into strategy development.
• Support & execute plant shutdowns / breakdowns with on time supplies in coordination with end users & procurement team based in HO.
