- As a researcher, I designed and optimized experiments for my project titled "Binding of PI3P by PIP4K" based on pre-existing data and extensive literature survey.
- Learnt molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, Site Directed Mutagenesis (SDM), SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, and gained expertise in protein-purification protocol standardization and trouble-shooting.
- Collaborated with experienced researchers from the Centre of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics (CCBT) to learn biophysical techniques (such as Microscale Thermophoresis (MST)/ Isothermal Titration Chemistry (ITC)/ Protein Thermal Shift to study protein-lipid interactions.
- Functioned as a team-player in diverse groups as well as handled a project independently and contributed significantly to the field.
- Took up credit courses on Developmental Biology, Proteins, Research Methodology and Publication Ethics.
