Summary

I have more than 25 years of experience across varied domains in healthcare (Research and Development, Medical Affairs, Customer Education and Knowledge Management). I have worked both in established healthcare organisations as well as in a start-up which has helped me transform into a process oriented and agile individual. I have obtained my clinical laboratory geneticist-certification from European Board of Medical Genetics I am passionate about research especially in genetic disorders and have worked on several projects such as sickle cell disease and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. I believe that in India democratizing genomics, ensuring equitable access to therapeutics and creating awareness through counselling and advocacy groups may help to a large extent in decreasing the long tail of genetic disorders. I have till date 28 publications in international peer reviewed journals and am also the Hon. Executive Secretary of the Molecular Pathology Association of India

  • Created 8 scientific communiques and published 1 peer reviewed manuscript on real world evidence on Drug resistance in Tuberculosis using the whole gene sequencing test
