Projects: HSBC (World Class Account Opening (WCẠO))

Objective :

Produce a world beating account opening system that competes directly with the challenger banks. Simplify the registration process and bring down the time it takes to open an account.

WCAO is designed to be a fully configurable system that will allow markets to setup account opening for their needs. The application process will follow a globally agreed model. However, where there needs to be regional differences, say for legal reasons, these need to be possible through configuration files.

WCAO has been divided up into 4 sections:

Welcome:

• Introduction screens with some information gathering and product selection.

IDV:

• Identify the customer and collect documentation to verify it. (DIVA, Singpass, etc.)

OTP:

• Verify the device is theres, register the device and configure it.

Questions:

• Information gathering stage where we ask the customer about themselves and their financial situations.

Job Responsibility:

• Designed scalable architecture for applications to easily accommodate future growth in user base or functionality expansion.
• Developed reusable code libraries to expedite future development efforts, reducing time-to-market for new features.
• Improved system stability through rigorous debugging processes that identified root causes of issues quickly and efficiently addressed them before deployment deadlines were met.
• Enhanced user experience through the development of intuitive UI designs and streamlined navigation features.
• Mentored junior developers by providing guidance on best practices, coding techniques, and problem-solving skills.
