  • List of Significant Projects 1) MIDAS( Merrill Lynch ) - September'07 to August'08.
  • 2) CATERPILLAR DWM - September'08 - December '08., Staples INC is a very big name in Retail market space, its primary business is to supply any office assecories to the big MNC clients.
  • For the purpose they are having some web based portals to facilitate the customers for selecting and placing the order through these portals i.e staples dot com , staples link etc.
  • Also they have some retail shops for which they have some other applications , all these applications are having DB2 as the database and they require support for 24.
  • 7 for their up and running purpose.
  • Leverage DB2 Support :- Most challenging role for a DBA ever is to work in a leverage DBA support, here I am supporting as many as 280+ production servers across various platforms from LINUX, UNIX, WINDOWS and SUN SOLARIS.
  • Working total for 14 clients, to name a few STATE FAM INSURANCE, Daimler Financial Services, GOODYEAR, PHEONIX WHEATH MANAGEMENT, SABER,AFFINIA, MAZDA MOTORS , Coca Cola etc.
  • All clients are housed and run from our HP Datacenter providing a 24.

  • VISA as the name speaks for itself , is a giant banking partner which is working with more than 700 + partners Banks in / around world , and providing the IT infrastructure interms of application support , MQ and Database support for the smooth and continued operations of all the banks in their BAU.
  • I being a part of VISA, work as a DBA DB2 LUW and support all the projects which houses all most 400+ databases , which includes all types of databases from single node to multi node / partition , Buisness data warehouse , microstrategy etc.

  • The databases are built in DB2 and the software used is Peregine Tool.
  • Satyam provides the Database Administration Support, which includes the maintenance by handling the tickets and production support (24x7) with onsite/offshore model with three resources at onsite and three resources at offshore.
