• Vendor Development for Sand Casting: Successfully developed and onboarded new vendors for sand casting of strainers and valves in Gujarat, Coimbatore, and China. Managed supplier qualification based on capability, quality, and tonnage output (10 kg to 2 tons per casting).
• Sourcing & Foundry Management: Identified and sourced new foundries aligning with casting output requirements, ensuring alignment with production targets and project timelines.
• UL Certification Leadership: Spearheaded the contract signing, sample manufacturing, and testing process for UL certification of strainers, culminating in successful approval and certificate acquisition.
• High-Precision Imports: Coordinated import of high-precision titanium strainers from China, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards and timely delivery schedules.
• Team Leadership: Managed a team of two, responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Materials (BOM) for complete fabrication assemblies including flanges, pipes, perforated sheets, bar stock, and fasteners.
• Project Handling – ADNOC: Independently managed casting and fabrication work for ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) offshore and onshore projects, ensuring strict compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintained strong relationships with leading forging suppliers across India (e.g., CHW, Good Luck, Suraj, Innoforge), ensuring reliable and quality-driven supply chains.
• Support to Estimation & Development: Collaborated with the estimation team on new product costing and development strategies, aiding in competitive bid preparation and innovation.
• Client Engagement & Quality Compliance: Actively participated in Product Introduction Meetings (PIM) with clients, capturing quality expectations and ensuring alignment with delivery schedules and any additional compliance needs.
• TPI Coordination: Negotiated and signed rate contracts with premier Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies such as TUV Nord and BV India for inspections across India and overseas.
• Supplier Evaluation & Capability Analysis: Continuously identified and evaluated new suppliers, analyzing production capacities and upgrading them to meet evolving project demands.

• Negotiated contracts with suppliers to establish quality, cost and delivery requirements.

• Review Overdue PO's, shortages and have them updated in Oracle ERP
• Identifying wastages in buying function and driving elimination.

• Planning & Vendor Development Engineer for the division of STRAINERS, Valves Etc.
• Make assurance to comply with drawings and specifications in terms of design & materials
• Ability to Propose Most Economic Design & Manufacturing Process.
• Understanding customer needs & proposing the correct products for their application
• Plan, hold and record regular meetings on site with the site personnel: such as Coordination meeting and Planning meetings
• Provide final approval of As-Built drawings submitted by the Contractor/Client
• Supporting the Estimation team to work BOM with Competitive Prices for grabbing up Orders
• Good Knowledge in Materials & Maintaining good Rapport with suppliers all over world
• Developing of vendors by visiting them auditing their work facility, Inventory etc
• To Maintain Effective Supply Chain to avoid any delay to the Project
• Responsible for developing Vendors with alternative materials of lower cost and comparable quality which suits the purpose and are economical
• Coordinating with the suppliers and getting the quotation of exact materials required
• Handling preparation of Price Comparisons and selection of vendor on the basis of cost, quality & capability of Vendor.
