In my role as a DevOps lead, I oversee a team of 8 skilled DevOps engineers and manage 6 applications. Drawing on my extensive experience in handling end-to-end software development operations processes, driving automation efforts, and ensuring smooth operations, I bring valuable expertise to the table. Apart from core DevOps duties, I have excelled in the positions of Scrum Master and Confluent Kafka Administrator, making significant contributions to the achievements of multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps Leadership: Designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery. Orchestrating complex deployments and infrastructure provisioning through Ansible, optimizing resource allocation and reducing downtime.
• Monitoring and Observability: Leveraging EFK stack and Grafana to establish comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions, ensuring real-time visibility into system performance and application health. Proactively identifying and resolving issues, leading to enhanced system stability and improved user experiences.
• Confluent Kafka Administration: Managing Confluent Kafka clusters, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization, to support mission-critical data streaming applications. - Ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and data integrity while scaling Kafka infrastructure to accommodate evolving business needs.
• Achievements: Implemented automated alerting and incident response procedures, reducing system downtime and minimizing business impact. By implementing Ansible automation, were able to reduce deployment time for legacy application by nearly 70%, freeing up team resources for more innovative projects. This enhancement in efficiency allowed us to optimize our processes, focus our efforts on key tasks.

• Build, operate and scale OpenShift platforms (PaaS) in multiple regions. Activities includes, maintaining Openshift Clusters up and running, renewing certificates on route/master, upgrade OCP4.x clusters with Disconnected/Connected mode, migrating applications from OCP 3.11 to OCP 4.x by using MTC, adding/removing nodes to kubernetes/openshift Cluster, resolve IP leakage issues at node level, draining nodes whenever is needed
• Lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters
• Manage SLA of platforms at five nine’s ( 99.999 uptime)
• Deploy and maintain Highly Available OpenShift platforms on Private cloud (Red hat Openstack) and Public cloud (Azure).
• Provided extensive platform support by analyzing and troubleshooting container-based applications.
• As DevOps engineer in team of 12 members, designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines in on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• As Azure DevOps administrator, am responsible for user management across organizations in Azure DevOps. Automated cleanup process of users in Azure DevOps
• Developed customized Azure DevOps web extension and created CI/CD pipelines to run, package and publish to Microsoft marketplace
• Integrated stage in Jenkins pipeline scripts to push data of QA Jenkins pipelines and automated test results, also visualize data using ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Qlik Sense
