I have 25 years of experience in the various fields of Medicine & Healthcare . Other than practicing medicine as a doctor, I have gained experience as an administrator in Man- management,Training of Para-Medics, Procurement Service, Health Insurance & Medical Underwriting, Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Hospital and Non - Medical Setup. Skilled in focusing on goals and targets, determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps and delegating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results. I am experienced in handling small, large and cross functional teams successfully and coaching and mentoring subordinates. I have a good knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality Management. I also have experience in delivering Technical Training to subordinates .Trained in Quality Management System by ISO 9001-2008 certification body. I am a disciplined and confident Physician cum Hospital Administrator.
After completion of my MD in Medicine from Tashkent State Medical Institute - 2 ,Ex USSR in 1997, I returned to India and joined prestigious Safdurjung Hospital, New Delhi which is one of the busiest hospitals in the country as an Intern. After a year of clinical practice I decided to pursue my career in the non medical side,I joined GE Capital as a Process Associate, I underwent extensive training at GE Capital regarding various healthcare Insurance plans in US . I used basic Six Sigma/QC tools in day-to-day operations for data analysis and process improvement. In 1999, I was appointed as a Medical Officer in Government est. Since then I have grown in service & knowledge. I initially performed duties as a doctor but gradually I stared taking interest in non-clinical administrative activities. I was trained in Hospital Management and Financial Planning. I was assoigned the task as an Instructor. I am experienced in training subordinates on Medical and Non-Medical aspects. With solid experience managing all levels of multiple projects including budgeting and administration. I have an ability to develop strategic long term partnerships and communicate effectively with all levels of decision makers. I completed my MBA in Hospital Administration and I am presently responsible for managing the complete administration and Man management of a multi-speciality hospital. I am now looking for brighter avenues outside in order to enrich my knowledge and get better job satisfaction.

I am commanding a team of around 250 -300 individuals which include doctors, paramedical and non-paramedical staff . I am responsible for the administration and smooth functioning of a multi-speciality hospital.

My responsibilities are to-

  • Ensures optimum excellence in hospital services and patient's satisfaction .
  • Set short and long term objectives for the team towards planned targets.
  • To ensure the Hospital complies with local, state laws and regulations w.r.t Medical compliances
  • Develop operational strategies to ensure excellence and patient's satisfaction (Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • To recommend Hospital strategic plans, operational plans, annually.
  • To recommend hospital annual budget, comprising of Capital and Operations Budget
  • To propose the hospital's annual safety and quality improvement plans and implement the same.
  • Reviews reports on quality & patient safety, including reports of adverse and sentinel events on a quarterly basis.
  • Regularly review and present the quality and operational Indicators.
  • Update organisation structure to meet hospital needs.
  • Build healthy, effective relationship between line and staff functions.
  • Develop a well motivated and trained team so as to ensure excellence in service.

  • Contracts and liaison of medical and non-medical nature with outside agencies including repair and maintenance of diagnostic and other equipments, ward administration and cleanliness.
  • Meetings with Nursing Staff and other para-medical staff to discuss measures for improvement of patient care and other related matters.
  • Supervision of medical records and maintenance thereof.
  • All matters relating to para-medical staff including doctors,nurses and para-medics (recruitment, postings leave etc.).
  • Administration of Medical Store & Pharmacy.
  • Co-ordination of computerization in all areas of the Hospital. Management of HIS.
  • All matters relating to medical nature of staff engaged by contractors working in the Hospital.
  • Update rules and regulations and ensure staff compliance so as to bring about organization discipline.
  • Conduct appraisals of staff against objectives and standards so as to ascertain performance levels, training and development needs and reward and recognition.
  • Take corrective and timely actions for discipline. Ensure healthy staff relations.
  • To diligently carryout any other responsibility, job role or task assigned from time to time by the management or superior.
