  • HYPERMAX is the first storage hypervisor that manages and protects embedded services by extending VMAX high availability to services that traditionally would have run external to the array. This project is about porting physical VNX file server nodes to hypervisor environment.
    ▪ Implemented embedded NAS as sandbox for creating express install
    ▪ Defined the initial functional prototype of the product and high level requirements.
    ▪ Lead of BPI (Build, Packaging and Install) team of 5 members across multiple releases.
    ▪ Worked on high availability model for control station.
    ▪ Defined the field upgrade serviceability procedures for the product. Co-ordinated and led the efforts from multiple engineering teams across the globe to automate the processes.
    ▪ Performed various POC on deployment of next generation of file systems for VMAX.
    ▪ Responsible for triage and fixing the bugs on all modules providing platform support and file
    system control path stack for Embedded File.
    ▪ Authored functional and design specs for several of design aspects and driven the formal reviews with partner teams to closure.
