- As an MCh Neurosurgery resident at KMC Manipal, I was involved in emergency and elective neurosurgical care, including trauma, vascular, tumor, and spinal cases. I assisted and performed procedures such as Neurosurgery emergencies i.e., Brain and Spine Trauma, shunt surgeries, elective various cranial and spinal procedures, and participated actively in peri-operative and ICU management. I also gained structured exposure to cerebro vascular pathologies, including aneurysms, AVMs, and stroke management under the guidance of my teacher Dr Girish Menon sir. I was also engaged in academic work, research and publications, and teaching.
