• Strategy development - Formulated a detailed business case, business plan and go-to-market strategy for ReNew to enter the green hydrogen market as a merchant generator; led teams that built detailed cost models, demand forecast models, and revenue projections for domestic supply; created a supply chain mapping, hiring and resourcing plan for the team
• Business development – Led business development for green hydrogen and Open Access solar and wind power to industrial customers across India; built a significant OA deal pipeline of ~1,000 MW involving complex deals and extensive commercial and contractual negotiation with clients; closed >22 MW in Open Access PPAs (~₹850 million capex) in FY2019-20 with >300 MW expected in FY2020-21; commercialised new solutions including green hydrogen and ammonia offtake contracts in 2021, high-PLF wind-solar hybrid PPA contracts for industrial clients
• Project development – cultivated partnerships with global electrolyser OEMs, hydrogen and ammonia project EPC companies, gas storage and transportation providers and policy advocacy associations to inspire conducive policy mechanisms for green hydrogen in India; managed a techno-commercial feasibility study for a 50 KTPA (~1,200 MW solar) green hydrogen manufacturing project in Western India as part of a larger portfolio

• Enterprise Business Development & Project Finance – Led the capital raising value chain including investment origination, prospecting, financial structuring, term-sheet negotiations and financial closure towards several rooftop solar PV deals (>5MW in PPAs; >₹150 million in project finance) and a debt credit commitment for a 10 MW portfolio for FY18-19; built relationships with multinational energy IPPs, HNI investors and infrastructure funds for project equity as well as senior lenders and NBFCs for project debt
• Commercials management – managed commercial functions in relations to project appraisals, project valuations, tariff structuring for greenfield assets, transfer pricing for brownfield assets, contracts management and establishing investment thresholds for SolarTown’s deals across India

Responsible for business growth of seven key accounts in UK/India (>£400,000 annual topline) for e-waste disposal and IT asset management in Europe and India including service delivery, commercial strategy, and marketing
