Presented a paper entitled "Staging Preview Events for Crowded Intangible Heritage Festivals to Future-Proof Sustainable Tourism: The Case of Durga Puja in Kolkata."

Fourth Year (15 January 2025 - 14 January 2026)

• Teaching Assistant: M.A. Geography Batch 2023-2025 Semester IV Core Paper New Economic Geography. Conducted tutorials and assisted students in preparing assignments under the core course.
• Attended a Conference, Presented a Paper, and Participated in Workshops: Attended the 9th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2025) held at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Presented a paper entitled "Transcending from visual to virtual ethnographies: Using social media as a field for ethnographic observation of various Themed Installation Art-Based Durga Pujas in Kolkata." Attended two workshops: 1. An Introduction to Using Constructivist Grounded Theory Methodology, and 2. Contemplation in Qualitative Research - Experiencing Self, No-Self, and the Lifeworld.
• Awarded a Travel Grant for Conference: Awarded a Travel Grant by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi for attending and presenting at the RGS (with IBG) AIC 2025.
• Attended a Conference and Presented a Paper: Attended the Royal Geographical Society (with Institute of British Geographers) Annual International Conference 2025 held at University of Birmingham in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Presented a paper entitled "Durga Puja in Kolkata: A creative urban space in making."
• Conducted Third Fieldwork: Durga Puja in Kolkata 2025.

• Attended a Conference and Presented a Paper: Attended the 43rd INCA International Congress organized by the Indian National Cartographic Association (INCA) and hosted by the Regional Remote Sensing Centre-West, National Remote Sensing Centre, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) at Jodhpur, India. Presented a paper entitled "Emerging trends in digital cartography with respect to the creative industries and cultural economy associated with 'Durga Puja in Kolkata' from West Bengal, India."
• Attended a Conference and Presented a Paper: Attended the 45th Indian Geography Congress International Conference of the National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI) organized by the Department of Geography, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) at Pune, India. Presented a paper entitled "Durga Puja and Sustainable Development of Indigenous Artisan Communities: A Case Study of Durga Puja Art at Selected Sites from Kolkata, West Bengal."

First Year (15 January 2022 - 14 January 2023)

• Completed Ph.D. Coursework: Confirming Doctoral Admission.
• Conducted Pilot Survey: Durga Puja in Kolkata 2022.
• Attended a Conference and Presented a Paper: Attended the International Geographical Union (IGU) Thematic Conference, 2022 on Sustainability, Future Earth and Humanities: Opportunities and Challenges organized by the Department of Geography, Central University of Haryana (CUH) at Mahendragarh, India. Presented a paper entitled "The Durga Puja in Kolkata – Evolution of a festival from a culture to a heritage via economy and power in space." This work was awarded the Best Paper Presentation in the Technical Session 2F: Heritage, Power, Culture and Economy of the conference.
