  • Managing a team of 5 Automation tester for UI testing using Selenium Java
  • Conducting daily scrums and biweekly sprints, to track efforts and assign open/pending automation tasks
  • Mediator between development team and our QSA team
  • This includes meeting with development team stakeholders and clients, to understand the technicality of the UI/Project, various use-cases and discuss on timelines for delivery
  • UI pages are split into tasks and these are assigned to individual tester within the team
  • These efforts are estimated in terms of hours spent in testing, and recorded in the Sprint Planner
  • Work with the team to come up with the various testcases or pick up pre-existing testcases from an internal tools
  • Testcases are categorized into functional and component levels, these would be double checked internally within the team and the Manager, and then discussed with development team
  • Constantly assisting testers whenever there is a technical or code-level logical blocker
  • Currently we are using TestNG framework
  • Working closely with development team, at roadblocks during our executions
  • Working on SCM activities using Git and CI/CD items using Jenkins
  • We plan on completing at least a fortnight ahead of the scheduled delivery dates, thereby giving us more time to double-check
  • Collecting the Reports post testing is completed with screenshots alongside the testcases and, sharing and discussing with development team
  • Conducting biweekly sync-ups with whole team to understand repetitive code or wide-usability code, and implementing those into our frameworks
