• Instrumental in drawing up major safety and security arrangements in many important buildings and heritage infrastructure of the city
• Spearheaded a committee of preservation and looking after the major Heritage buildings of the city
• Led an unit of 1000 strength of police personnel of different ranks, not only acting as DDO but also ensuring preparedness for any Law and Order duties and different untoward situations
• Organised film shows , cultural evenings and many social programmes to boost their motivation and evade loneliness and boredom

• Played a pivotal role in organising all sports and events of Kolkata Police like KP Sports, Blood Donation Camps, Free Medical Check up camps for police Personnel and Pronam Members( a wing of Sr Citizen of the city)

The only Nodal officer of Kolkata Police keeping liaison with CAB,BCCI,IPL Authorities and KKR for the last 15 Years
