  • Develop strategy and lead the Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling and Logistics components of the Company’s Business
  • Understand, define, development and implementation Logistics processes with a focus on Rail & Road routes
  • Establish policies and standard work procedures in transportation, distribution and customer service
  • Looking after primary transportation from our Plant with a capacity of 2200 TPD, situated at Lumslung, Meghalaya to various Warehouses located across the North East

  • Monitoring Secondary transportation from all the Warehouses located across the North East
  • Monitoring minimum STOCK level at all the Warehouses / Depot for timely supply of materials to the customers
  • Monitoring CLINKER transportation from Plant to various places in North East
  • Monitoring Gypsum transportation from Bhutan to Meghalaya (Lumslung) Looking after FLY ASH transportation through RAIL / ROAD
  • Monitoring entire RAIL operation of INWARD traffic as well as OUTWARD traffic
  • Liaison with government authorities (Police / MVI/ Sales Tax department, Rail authorities etc) for smooth operation
  • Commissioning new warehouses as and when required
  • Appointment and finalization of Transporters for smooth business
  • Freight Rate finalization (Tendering) with all the Transporters as per market exigency
  • Monitoring entire MIS reports related to Logistics
