  • Revamped B2C applications such as RedDoorz hotel booking platform and Owners application on cloud native auto scalable microservices based architecture using latest technologies like Java, MySQL, Mongo, Redis, Kafka, AWS, Akamai CDN/WAF etc.
  • Hotel booking platform is handling 40M customers, 2M bookings/month across 3000 hotels in 200 cities, throughput 33K rps and response time < 300 ms. Led UI, Android and iOS teams to develop cross platform applications to support customers on different platforms.
  • Developed cloud native scalable B2B application, Ezekey and RedCM from scratch. These applications enabled partners to register and sell their properties/hotel rooms, optimise their inventory & pricing for maximum profit, and real time ARI synchronisation between OTAs (online travel agencies). Technologies such as Java/J2EE, Kafka, MySQL, Mongo, Redis, AWS were used. (throughput ~40K rps and response time ~250 ms)
  • Effectively embraced cloud technologies (AWS & GCP) for deployment of highly scalable microservices-based applications, via CI/CD pipelines in containerized environment (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Driven technical audits (compliance & data security) by external agencies and prepared technology compliance ready for IPO, driven PCI & ISO 27001 compliance certification.
  • Built and supervised team of 90 highly performant engineers across different teams (Backend, Frontend, UI, Apps, Data Engineering, Data Science, QA, Security)
  • Evaluated and acquired Channel Manager product (Software evaluation, tech stack and risk assessment, onboarding and deploying on a highly scalable cloud environment), saved around 200K USD/month vendor cost, handling 110 OTAs for real-time ARI and booking updates.

  • Hotel Booking Platform: This platform acts as an eCommerce platform which provides customer several ways to interact (Web & Apps), search hotels and create booking reservation. It provides multi-lingual support, personalization, nearby search and payment gateway integration. Technologies used Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Elastic Search, React.js, MySQL, Mongo, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, CDN etc.


  • Ezekey: A channel manager is a technology solution to a problem that plagues many hoteliers in today’s predominantly online marketplace. Drove this project from conceptualization to delivery. Owned application architecture, deployment on AWS, monitoring, HA, Scalability and team management of 9 engineers.


  • Job Seeker Platform: Project description developed Monster India seeker platform from scratch. It required complete SDLC including DB design, REST microservices,UX design, UI wiring and unit testing. Technologies used were Java 8, Spring Boot, Vue.js, Mysql, Mongo, Aerospike, Redis, Kafka, KONG, Docker etc.
