Role & responsibilities

• Ensure order execution within 4 hours from order receipt.
• Coordinate with planning, sales, and transporters for smooth dispatch operations.
• Optimize vehicle and route planning to reduce turnaround time and freight cost.
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) is strictly followed in all the depots allotted.
• Monitor and minimize cut, torn, and transit damages.
• Maintain a minimum of 2 DVRs (Daily Vehicle Reports) for each depot.
• Ensure proper inventory control, storage practices, and safety compliance.
• Ensured collection of POD (Proof of Delivery) by 10th of each month to maintain accurate delivery records.
• Collect Balance Confirmation and Feedback Forms by 20th of every month.
• Maintain documentation records and audit trails.
• Ensure Rail/Warehouse vendor bills submission within 710 days.
• Ensure secondary freight bills submission by 5th of the next month.
• Coordinate with finance for billing validation and dispute resolution.
• Ensure accurate and timely MIS reports for dispatch, warehouse, and rake operations.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
• Ensure timely rake clearance to avoid DC/WC (Demurrage / Wagon Charges).
• Monitored and controlled shortage and damage at rake points to uphold inventory integrity.
• Collect daily MIS from depots and weekly consolidated reports every Saturday.
• Conducted monthly meetings with transporters and vendors to enhance collaboration and address operational challenges.
• Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MOM) to HR, Management, and HOD.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level compliance.
