PROJECT SUMMARY:

IB (Investment bank) work’s in between corporate client and investor. Client needs investment to expand their business. Banker Portal is an application widely used in IBDIT division bankers of UBS as a one stop application for tracking all the functional areas of IB.

The process starts from opportunity and ends with filing documents. Working with opportunity and client will create opportunity and after save and initiate approval from different security group. While creating opportunity, nuggets data will change depend on the selected value. There is a feature for search opportunity using opportunity code or name and edit option to add additional information after save opportunity. The other functional areas tied to Banker Portal are client coverage, client interactions, booking a deal, tracking a deal, booking revenue, tracking the expense, Dashboard for tracking client information, tracking the loans issued to a client, etc.

My Responsibilities: Involved in the following activities and execution of testing activities.

• Understanding and deriving the Customer Requirement which will be posted in JIRA.
• Interacting with the client and development team for specifications.
• Generation of Test Cases, Test Scenarios and Test data.
• Setting up testing environment for testing.
• Preparing test result document and summarization of results.
• Execution of Test Cases and raising the Defects.
• Defects were tracked and reviewed using QC.
• Detecting bug and classified them based on Severity and Priority.
• Involved in Sanity testing, Functionality Testing, Database testing, Integration testing, System testing, Regression testing and UAT testing.

Home Retail Group Retail Food Stores, which is one of the organizations that sells various numbers of products. Home Retail Group has various stores, which maintains Database has lots of historical data. This project was to create Sales Data Warehouse and generate reports using Business Objects.

The aim of sales data Warehouse is to analyze sales of major brands varying with different promotional schemes. The system has a database which stores information about sales, profits and contacts of customers. Using this existing database, the system should analyze the sales and profit and generates reports for Sales and Profits in month wise and year wise. The resulting model gives us an idea about growth in profit, prediction about increase in sales.

My Responsibilities:

Charter Communications, Inc.is an American telecommunications and mass media company with services branded as Charter Spectrum. Spectrum Mobile Portal is an application widely used in Charter Mobile & Communications as a one stop application for tracking all Issues and connections.

The process starts from Issues and ends Escalating to Respective Assignee. Working with Issues and client will create Issues and after save and initiate approval from different security group.

My Responsibilities: Understanding the customer requirements

• Designed High level test scenarios and test cases
• Run the Workflows/Jobs for ETL Process
• Validated data in Target database according to business rules
• Prepared SQL queries to validate the ETL processed data in target database.
