1. Aberdeen Standard Investments - Investment Data Platform

This involves building centralized data platform comprising of data warehouse, data mart and tabular model used by business users for generating financial reports required for downstream applications.

• Domain - Financials & Investments, Developer.
• Duration - 2 years until now ( on-shore / off-shore )
• Database & Tools - Snowflake, SQL Server 2017 and SSAS Tabular, Power BI, Visual Studio, RedGate, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio.
• Interacted with business analysts and reporting platform to gather requirements and designed data model accordingly.
• Extensively involved in design, development, and support for SIT/UAT.
• Had built unit testing framework to test measures developed using RedGate and Linked Server.
• Derived mapping document from developed model which gave us better clarity on requirements from BI reporting team.
• Built reconciliation Power BI reports.
• Built another stand-alone tabular model for another source system.
• This involves browsing dimensional(master) data and no measures.

2. Diageo China Limited

This involves building data mart and tabular model used by business users for generating financial sales reports.

• Domain - Retail.
• Duration - 6 months
• Role - SQL and SSAS Tabular Developer.
• Database & Tools - SQL Server 2017 and SSAS Tabular, Power BI, Visual Studio.
• Worked for Diageo China Limited in SSAS Tabular / Power BI development

3. Taylor & Francis

This involves building of data warehouse and generate Power BI reports out of the data model. There are many applications consuming these reports for monitoring respective KPIs.

• Duration - 1 year ( On shore )
• Role - Source System Analyst / BI Developer
• Database & Tools - Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Power BI
• Worked for Taylor & Francis at United Kingdom in performing source system analysis and also played the role of Power BI Report Developer and worked on Python for XML data validation.

4. American International Group Inc.,

• Worked in multiple ETL projects for American International Group on IBM DataStage, IBM DB2 and UNIX Shell scripts.
• Domain - Insurance
• Duration - 4 to 5 years
• Role - ETL Developer / Lead
• Database & Tools - DataStage, DB2 and UNIX

Data Provisioning - IDW.

• Led team of freshers and executed module Data Provisioning successfully.
• Analysed business requirement and validated mapping document.
• Involved in design of Analytical Layer.
• Prepared ETL Design, Load Logic Document and shared estimates for tasks.
• Involved in code review to ensure delivering high quality code.
• International work experience at Dublin for application Support after go-live for one month.
