  • Responsible for end-to-end operations from planning, procurement, manufacturing, manpower management to business development and sales
  • Setup up manufacturing unit with 5 machines and a capacity of 0.15 million cups per day and eventually expanded to a capacity of 0.6 million cups per day with 16 machines as of 2022 i.e 180 million cups per year (~ 54 Million INR of Sales)
  • Managed day-to-day activities of 35 employees that included machine operators, supervisors etc
  • Generate plans for next quarter based on sales data from past using excel
  • Manage Material Requirement Plan for 10 Stock keeping units based on the demand plan, manufacturing lead times and capacity
  • These stock keeping units have 3 level BOM
  • Liaisoning with sub-contractor for production of Poly Coated paper. This step in supply chain has a lead time of one month and needs to be carefully managed for optimum utilisation
  • Responsible for procurement of raw material from players such as ITC, Nippon, Reliance Industries, TNPL etc (around 300 tons of cup stock paper, LDPE etc Per year of raw material)
  • Build daily production schedules for all the machines considering the demand plan, machine down times and manpower availability
  • Develop plans to handle demand during peak season by building sufficient buffer stock and addressing requirements for additional labor
  • First manufacturing firm in South India to procure high grade paper from Nippon via Marubeni India Pvt Ltd
  • Built an alternate supplier base for raw materials based out of Hyderabad for contingency purposes and control the procurement costs
  • Analyzed daily and monthly sales report and took appropriate steps to make a lean business model
  • Started with a production of around 10 Tons a month in April - 2016 and reached a production of around 30 Tons a month by the end of March 2018
  • Analyzed yearly profits and took further corrective measures to make the business model as lean as possible
