- Carried out forecasting of demand for essential supplies and executed last-mile delivery operations to isolated forward outposts in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir using animal transport (Horses and Mules).
- Managed operational, administrative, disciplinary and training aspects in respect of 180 troops under my command.
- Inspected Animal Transport Detachments deployed along a frontage of 200 km along the LOC on a monthly basis to ensure operational readiness.
- Periodically carried out liaison with dependent infantry units for accurate gauging of the quantum of services required, to facilitate suitable allocation of resources.
- Attended briefings at headquarters and enacted prompt dissemination of instructions and execution of orders.
- Prepared weekly progress reports and returns to provide near real-time feedback for onward planning and decision-making by the headquarters.
- Initiated fresh infrastructure and maintenance projects by collaborating with combat engineers to ensure increased security of my garrison and improvement of troop barracks.
- Initiated and reviewed confidential reports post performance evaluation of the non-commissioned and junior-commissioned officers under my command.
