I graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Chitkara University in August 2024, achieving a CGPA of 8.86/10. Throughout the four-year program, I built a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, including pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, and clinical pharmacy. My education combined theoretical learning with practical exposure to drug formulation, laboratory techniques, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
As part of my research experience, I co-authored and published an article in Bentham Science on the potential role of Arbutin in treating Alzheimer's disease. In the study, we explored Arbutin’s pharmacological effects, its potential for inhibiting amyloid plaque formation, and its therapeutic impact on neurodegenerative conditions. The article contributed to the understanding of novel approaches to Alzheimer's treatment and was published after rigorous review and testing. This experience deepened my interest in computational drug development, which I further explored by attending a specialized Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) workshop at IIT Kharagpur. There, I worked on optimizing molecular structures, predicting biological activity, and enhancing drug efficacy using computational techniques.
During my time at university, I also actively participated in several industry-related events. I took part in the National Pharmacy Fest 2023, where I explored topics such as pharmaceutical innovations, career development, and emerging trends in the industry. Additionally, I participated in the Pharma Tech web series, which delved into subjects like funding opportunities for early-stage pharmaceutical entrepreneurs and the management of diabetes with new anti-diabetic drugs.
Outside academics, I was passionate about community service through my volunteer work with The Himalayan Foundation. I contributed to initiatives like the "Kido" program for underprivileged children and participated in various outreach activities. I also performed as a member of the THF Band, using music to raise awareness, and visited old age homes to provide assistance to underprivileged individuals. In recognition of my efforts, the Indian Development Foundation awarded me a certificate and a medal during an invitation to Jaipur for my active participation in resource mobilization for humanitarian causes.
After graduation(B.Pharmacy), I worked as a medical coder, gaining valuable insights into clinical data and healthcare systems. I also hold a B1-level certification in German from the Goethe-Institute, reflecting my multilingual capabilities and adaptability in global environments.
Currently, I am pursuing an MSc in Industrial Pharmacy at Queen's University Belfast, where I am further enhancing my knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. To support my education and living expenses, I am actively seeking a part-time job. My academic background, research experience, and strong communication skills make me well-equipped to contribute to the professional environment while balancing my studies.
