My role involves preparing detailed annual budgets and forecasts, conducting in-depth variance analysis to evaluate performance against budget and prior year results, and identifying key business drivers impacting financial outcomes. Additionally, I perform month-end and year-end reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support decision-making through data-driven financial modeling, reporting, and commentary. Proficiency in Advance excel, Workday, Voyager and financial reporting tools is utilized to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

• Interned at Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) on a live hydroelectric project, focusing on cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis. Worked closely with cross-functional teams to track project expenses, prepare budgets, and analyze deviations. Utilized Excel for financial modeling and SAP for budget monitoring and reporting, gaining practical exposure to financial processes in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Completed an internship under a Chartered Accountant, gaining hands-on experience in taxation policy, cost accounting, and management accounting. Developed practical knowledge of financial processes and reporting, while enhancing proficiency in Excel and SAP for data analysis and documentation.
