• Enhance and create new DAGs in Airflow using Python script, which are used to load data from different vendors to DB.

• Automated generation of portfolio risk Quality Check (QC) reports using Airflow DAG which saved over 1 hour, eliminating manual monitoring of upstream job, run DB queries and format data to send report to business.

• Enhancement of functionalities of Provider Management application which is built on Jython (Java + Python) framework
• Manage and set up test data for SIT/UAT testing.
• Automated test data set up for testing which saved over 2 hours of manual work - created stored proc by passing data requirements as input which runs update queries for setting up required data by SIT team.
• Responsibility:
• Create python scripts for enhancements/bug fixes of business rules of Provider management application.
• Gather test data requirement from testing team and set up data in SIT/UAT environments using Provider manager application and Oracle SQL Database
• Collaborate with downstream systems and trigger corresponding feed files to ensure data flows to all required end systems.

• Client: Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey - HealthCare & Insurance
• Provided maintenance and support for a critical health care application – which is used to maintain patient health care management functions.
• Responsibility:
• Support users with any issues/workflow of the application and resolve incidents and tickets raised by users and work with multiple teams for resolution.
• Monitor the application failures and find RCA and fix it, also report to upstream/downstream teams and follow up until resolution.
• Developed a front end tool using Angular to enable business users for removing attachments uploaded to the application by them in error. This reduced 30% of tickets raised by business users.
• Monitor daily feeds and resolve failures and ensure data is loaded to DB & feed into application.
• Analyze logs and work on RCA for failures and drive application deployment activities.

Client: Walmart

• Worked on project to migrate scripts/applications from UNIX environment (HP-UX) to Linux (RHEL) and Database migration from Informix to Cassandra.
• Responsibilities:
• Identifying required active scripts/application and make required compatibility changes for Linux environment.
• Update Informix - C and SQL code changes to make it compatible for Cassandra database.
• Used Linux tool cURL for accessing Cassandra Database and fetch data for the application.
• Extensive integration testing of all the scripts/applications and deployment of code in production environment using internal tools.
