I am working as General Staff Officer Grade -1 (GSO-1) in Directorate of Indigenisation, Indian Army. I am looking after the Make In India programme for Indian Army under the aegis of Ministry of Defence / Dept of Defence Production. My appointment as GSO-1 (Technical Coordination) deals with handling all the technical affairs of my Directorate and is akin to a CTO. I handle all project management and technical aspects during developmental life cycle of an indigenised weapon system / equipment. In addition, I handle the coordination matters (except administrative issues) with all the stakeholders viz Industry, Ministry, Inspection & QA agencies and Depots.

Commanded an active Field Unit

Counter Insurgency Operations

Administration of 170 Civilian Technicians and 380 Army Technicians.

Coordination of all official engagements of the Governor of State.

Commanded Two Workshops having a strength of 350 Technical Personnel each. Repair and Maintenance of all Weapon System and Equipment of Division Size Force of Indian Army
