• Worked at Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) section on TATA buses, government state buses, Defense prison vans etc.
• Conducted quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and vehicle specifications as per the approved checklist
• Compiled and analyzed PDI defect data across multiple bus production batches to identify frequent quality issues and trends
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues such as paint (Orange peel texture, excessive paint overruns, uneven gloss, Fish eyes etc.), Body shop (Panel Fitment Issues, Welding and Joint Defects, Dents etc.) and Assembly team (Interior panels vibrating or rattling, Loose or dangling wires, Loose or Missing Fasteners etc.)
• Analyzed defects and recommended process improvements such as establishing daily quality review meetings between assembly, paint, and quality teams, assigning quality champions on the respective lines responsible for spot checks for enhancing overall process efficiency

• Supported in identifying and troubleshooting die break issues to minimize machine downtime and maintain production quality
• Conducted regular inspections and maintenance of tooling and dies to ensure untimely defects
• Applied Poka Yoke techniques to prevent defects such as sensor curtains overload, proper arrangement of tools to avoid mix up, using checklists to ensure all tasks are completed correctly

• Operated overhead crane and organized steel coils by size (360mm, 380mm, 420mm etc.) to ensure easy access during production compared to previously where coils were arranged based on space availability
