TfW ECS3 Bangor Active Travel:

  • As an Assistant Engineer, I designed a 4.5 km active travel stretch for pedestrians and cyclists using Civil 3D 2019 in compliance with the Active Travel Act Guidance, Wales, 2021 standard, and DMRB standards. This included 2D and 3D modeling, such as horizontal and vertical designs, junction modeling, raised table design, and setting out details for the whole 4.5 km section. I prepared different 2D models for different MCHW series, including 100, 200, 600, 700, 1100, and 1200 series, as well as standard details for a 4.5 km long Active travel detailed design project. I maintained Project risk register, Designer decision schedule, Progress reports, Drawings registers forms for the project. The software I used included Civil 3D, AutoCAD, PDS sign, vehicle tracking, and PDS Line.

CCBC WelTAG 1-3 Active Travel Study

  • As an Assistant Engineer, I contributed to the Active Travel Study stage of the project by preparing a Baseline Constraints Plan, Options for active travel route, and Key attraction/destinations drawings along the route using Civil 3D and Auto CAD.

NPT 20mph Default Speed Limit Rollout

  • As an Assistant Engineer, I worked on reducing the existing speed limit of 30mph to 20mph throughout the sites by developing Xref and drawing of Road markings and Road signages. I also checked clashing with proposed signages and with site clearance signages. The software I used included Civil 3D, AutoCAD, PDS sign, and PDS Line.

Project - Doha Bus shelter (FIFA world cup 2022), Qatar (Client- Bojamhoor )

  • Designed different types of bus stop models according to Ashgal requirements and standards, incorporating required road markings and signs
  • Communicated effectively with the Qatar lead office to discuss the required details and drawing specifications
  • Produced drawings by addressing all comments against the mark-up sheet sent from the lead office, following Ashgal requirements and CAD and design standards

Project - NEOM Infrastructure, Saudi Arab (Client - NEOM)

  • Delivered designed output of cross sections, profiles, contours, cut and fill volumes, and material quantity, and reviewed them with the engineer
  • Produced grading plans, clearing and demolition plans, plans and profiles, typical cross sections, key plans, overall layout models, and setting out table models

Project - A9 Dualling P12 Tomatin to Moy, UK (Client- Transport Scotland & Environmental protection agency)

  • I have worked on Controlled Activities Regulations applications for submission to SEPA (Scottish Environment Protection Agency) and collaborated individually with the UK lead of the office. I have also developed various drawings such as Tomatin to Moy packages, Drainage OS plan drawings, activity location plan drawings, catchment Area drawings, pipe crossing drawings, and impoundment detail drawings for each package.

Project - Highways Maintenance Scheme, Shropshire County council, UK (Client - Shropshire County council)

  • I have developed road surface treatment detail models, existing and proposed road marking models according to TSGRD chapters 5 and 7, drainage models, utility models, key plan drawings, and site extent drawings for each site. They prepared road maintenance drawings based on site notes and images from the client and treated the surface according to requirements. I have also communicated with the UK lead of the office and prepared all drawings in compliance with DMRB standards.

Project - A34 Botley Interchange preliminary design, UK (Client- Highways England)

  • I have worked on MCHW series drawings, prepared proposed road-marking and sign models for junctions according to TSGDR chapters 5 and 7, and worked on general arrangements and drainage models under the guidance of the engineer. I have also addressed all comments given as markup by the head office.

Project - Quietway Cycle Routes, UK (Client-Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea)

  • I have worked on the 2D design proposal of 5 different cycle routes Models & drawings, kerb and footway, proposed road marking for cycle routes, and drainage models. They also prepared layout drawings for cycle route alignment, and all drawings were prepared in compliance with DMRB and TSRGD standards. I have addressed all comments given as markup by the lead office.

Project - A5 WTC, UK (Client- Department of Infrastructure UK)

  • I have worked on preparing General arrangement drawings, proposed and existing traffic signs, kerb and footway drawings, and site clearance drawings for different phases of A5. I have also designed proposed traffic signs in accordance with TSGRD chapter 7 and all drawings were prepared in compliance with DMRB, GG184/IAN 184 standards. I have communicated with the UK lead office regarding changes on drawings.

  • I was responsible for preparing detailed project reports for the improvement and upgrading of various Indian highway projects in the states of Sikkim and Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • This included improving horizontal and vertical designs, plans and profiles, junction improvement drawings, producing surfaces, interval cross-sections, alignment plans, land acquisition plans, and miscellaneous drawings, all in accordance with IRC standards.
