• Developed plans to execute agreed-upon research projects within budget and time requirements.

• Worked on reactions coupling reaction (by catalyst), reduction reaction (by palladium & raney nickel catalyst), Decarboxylation and Debezylation etc.
• Also worked on purification technique, column chromatography & TLC method to obtained desire product in pure form.

Project: Synthesis of Olmester (Intermediate), Ticagrelor (Intermediate), Solfenacin (Intermediate) & Dabigatran (APIs)

• Literature search & finding possible routes of synthesis with the help of Sci-finder, Sci- hub, Espacenet.
• Execute organic reaction from lab to pilot plant using appropriate inert handling technique, conventional and microwave technique, and distillation technique
• Knowledge to characterize the product of chemical reaction by interpretation of analytical data (by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, GCMS, GC, HPLC and TLC)
• Prepare detailed reports on the procedure, protocols and experimental data in a suitable format.
• Train and mentor new laboratory chemist and assist the project team as needed with all aspects of the synthesis.

Lab Experience

• Working on condensation reaction, cyclisation reaction, esterification reaction, Grignard reaction (by MeMgCl, MeMgBr), n-acylation reaction (coupling reaction), reduction reactions (by Zn/ammonium acetate, Sodium dithionate, Pd/C, Fe/ FeCl3, NaBH4, Raney Ni)
• Carried out reaction in hydrothermal bomb in high temperature
• Also worked on some chiral reduction of ketone by enzyme with co-enzyme

Project: Synthesis of Montelukast (Intermediate) & Donepezil API

Project : Synthesis and Biological activities of Thiadiazole and Benzothiazole Derivatives

• Expertise in carrying out multi-step synthesis of small and intermediate sized organic molecules by conventional or microwave technique and their characterization by interpretation of analytical data.
• Maintaining lab notebook, e-lab notebook and sample report records.
• Expert in chemical literature and patent searching using CAS databases like SciFinder, Reaxys, ChemSpider, PubChem etc.
• Good knowledge in separation techniques like–TLC, Column Chromatography, Preparative TLC, solvent extraction methods and interpretation of analytical data.

• Using different pathway like esterification, cyclisation, methylation and nitration etc. Halogenations using Br2, POCl3, SOCl2 etc.
• Performed in-vitro biological activities like antioxidant activity (DPPH, NO, FRAP, HO, ABTS kit method) anti-inflammatory activity (HRBC and U937 cell line) and antimicrobial activity of synthesized drugs.

• Synthesis and Characterization of silica encapsulated micronutrient nanoparticles for agriculture application.
• Synthesis of Zinc silicate, manganese silicate and its characterization by estimation metals by titration method (EDTA), particles Size analysis, zeta potential, FTIR etc.
• Participated in pot studies of micronutrient nanoparticles on wheat and rice.
• Instrument handled - GCMS, HPLC, FT-IR, UV- VIS-NIR, Size and Zeta
