Role & responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including but not limited to, motor control centers, switchgear, lighting systems, and instrumentation.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions and equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while conducting maintenance activities.

Equipment Installation and Upgrades:

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems.
• Participate in equipment and control system upgrades to improve efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Electrical Troubleshooting:

• Identify and resolve electrical problems and faults quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Utilize testing equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical systems.

Electrical Safety and Compliance:

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to electrical safety protocols and following relevant regulations and codes.
• Collaborate with safety officers to conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate measurements and control of critical parameters.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Create and update electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation as needed.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, collaborating with other plant personnel to minimize disruptions.
