- Oversee commercialization process to make sure of smooth transition from samples to bulk production
- Managing day to day production by working closely with planning and material department to ensure the product input and output is achieved per the plan
- Setting up processes based on the construction of the shoe and preparing feeding to the lines from Cut to Pack
- Handling varieties of materials from high quality leather to synthetic mesh/PU and achieving the consumption per the BOM
- Ensuring that the leather cutting is achieving proper to grain and color and shade as per customer requirements
- Ensuring the materials used are meeting the specification matching within a product and between a pair of products where applicable
- Conducting pre-production meetings with all departments before starting production to ensure understanding of the product and improvement in the line
- Visual inspection as per specifications in the job card
- Report risks/ problems likely to affect services to the relevant person promptly and accurately
- Development & implementation of operations strategies
- Ensure quality standards & minimize waste
- Review of daily performance like productivity, quality parameters & other plant objectives
- Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same
- Directly responsible for all order delivery and product quality inspection
- Leather assorting and follow-up from tannery and maintain the customer leather sample swatches
- Ensure all products are lab tested and passed requirements (both physical requirements and RSL) before shipment
- Follow up on relevant quality feedback from customers and take actions to improve product quality.
