  • The main objective of this migration project is to seamlessly migrate DataStage jobs and Teradata databases to GCP cloud storage
  • Migration of data from Teradata tables and SQL databases to GCP cloud storage and BigQuery (BQ) tables
  • It uses tools called Airflow to manage the process and Dataflow to manage the data more effectively
  • We transfer our data into Google cloud storage and use BigQuery to query the data in GCP and test them (data) in the development and preprod environment for further UAT testing.

  • As a Data Engineer on the ZIPLINE/RENTAL_CAR Data Migration projects, my role involves migration of data from Oracle Tables and SQL databases to GCP Cloud Storage and BigQuery (BQ) tables
