QS Role:

Creating accurate BBS preparation for beams, columns, slabs, etc., detailing shapes, lengths, laps, and hooks. Calculating total steel quantities, tracking steel consumption, reconciling with BBS, and minimizing wastage and managing bills of quantities (BOQ) & bills of materials (BOM).

Site Supervision:

Supervising rebar cutting/bending and placement to match the BBS and site conditions. Understanding structural drawings to extract rebar requirements and ensuring all work adheres to project specifications, safety standards, and relevant building codes compliances (e.g., IS Codes) Liaising with structural designers, site engineers, fabricators, and foremen to resolve issues and implement plans.

Project Coordination:

Oversaw project site work implementation & operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards & assessment of project cost efficiency through detailed rate comparisons and analysis techniques. Maintaining documentation of organized records, site reports, and reconciliation statements. Co-ordination with Architects, Consultants, Contractors, Clients & other Agencies.
